T-Mobile on Wednesday announced that interested parties may now “pre-register” for the Galaxy Tab 8.0. The device will officially be available for pre-order on July 16 and will land in T-Mobile outlets on July 23. It will set you back $16 per month for 24 months with one of T-Mobile’s tablet plans, but is available for $0 down at the time of purchase. That’s a total of $384.
The Galaxy Tab 4 8.0 isn’t going to blow any minds, but that’s why it’s more affordable than Samsung’s premium Galaxy Tab S tablets that were just announced. It’s equipped with an 8-inch 1290 x 800-pixel display, 1.5GB of RAM, a 1.2GHz quad-core processor, 16GB of expandable storage and a 3-megapixel camera.
If you’re not set on T-Mobile, you might want to consider picking up the Galaxy Tab 4 8.0 on Verizon Wireless, which is selling the device for $279.99 for a limited time.
